Pair with Zwind TV and play on Apple TV

Send your server configuration to Zwind TV so it can browse and play reachable media.

Help

Zwind TV is the related Apple TV app. Pairing can send your phone’s WebDAV server configuration to the TV, so you do not have to type each connection again.

Pair and sync

  1. Put the phone and Apple TV on networks that can reach each other.
  2. Open the pairing screen in Zwind TV and show its pairing QR code or manual pairing details.
  3. In the phone app, open Settings > Zwind TV Connections.
  4. Choose Scan QR Code, or add the connection using the TV’s pairing details.
  5. Finish pairing and sync. Check the result on the phone for skipped or failed server entries.
  6. Start the phone server whose files you want to play, then browse that connection on the TV.

Servers with invalid or local-only addresses can be skipped. Sync sends connection settings, including the WebDAV credentials needed for authenticated servers; pair only with a TV you trust.

Configuration is not a file transfer

Pairing does not copy the media library onto Apple TV. The TV still needs the phone’s server to be running and reachable to stream its files. Connected storage must also remain available to the phone. Supported playback formats depend on Zwind TV.

After changing server addresses or credentials, sync the configuration again. If playback fails, first open the server address in another device’s browser to separate a connection problem from a player or format problem.
